Hopeful Plans for The New Year

I made these two mixed media pictures for my Twin Sisters for Christmas. They are similar, but the picture in the middle with the three little girls with their arms wrapped around each other is what I loved. I love my sisters so much and I did my artwork around this precious picture. For once, since I have been doing this type of artwork I am happy with what I had accomplished. I felt in my heart I did a good job, so much better than my first pieces of artwork. So I felt renewed and I am wanting to do more. They loved their pictures and one of my sisters that is now retired is going to learn this type of artwork also.

Now that Christmas is over and the New Year is just around the corner, I feel which direction I want to go in. Oh I have plans, but I need to be careful and not have a whole lot of things on my plate. I seem to stagnate when that happens. I am signed up with a class right now I need to finish and I am going to sign up for another class here soon. These classes allow you six months to finish and that is great for me, I want to learn all I can and get the experience. I also want to turn some space of my laundry room into a small art studio corner. It has NOT been easy doing this art in my lap and working out of a box. Once I do this, things will fall into place and I will have my own little space for art, yeah!!!! We have a very small house and part of that laundry room is my only hope. I now have my sewing machine set up on a desk in there and there will be room left for my art area. I just need to move candle crafting supplies out of there and I can do it for the space I want so badly. I know where I want to go with all this and I am determined to make it happen in this coming New Year.......

I wish all of you a very Happy, Healthy, and Joyous New Year.......

When it comes out just the way you wanted, or just the way you envisioned or even better than you had hoped, you know you have nailed it.

These pieces are darling -- little wonder that your sisters love them!

It's always great to end a year with big plans for the coming year..and I hear you about not overloading or you stagnate...I'm guilty of that myself.

Wishing you a most wonderful, healthy and delightful new year filled with amazing possibilities!
